Therapy Fees
Typically, Individual Psychotherapy Sessions are $200 per 50 minute session. If paying out of pocket a sliding scale may be available. I accept payment via credit card, Zelle and Venmo.
Scheduling
Typically, we will set up a regular day and time to meet weekly. Generally, I recommend weekly appointments, but under some circumstances meeting every other week is a possibility. Currently all appointments are being held remotely via secure video.
Cancellations & No Shows
I require 24 hours notice for canceling an appointment. If less than 24 hours is given, you will be responsible for paying your session fee (if using insurance, you are responsible for what your insurance company pays.)

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Art Therapy?
Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses creative expression to assist in processing emotions, can provide different prospectives, improve mindfulness and improve self-understanding.
What is EMDR?
EMDR Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a type of therapy with an eight step process, in which the individual is asked to recall traumatic images while the therapist creates a sensory input using bilateral stimulation, such as side-to-side eye movements or hand tapping. In virtual sessions I use an EMDR application.
Do I need to be an artist?
Do you work with adults?
Absolutely
Large majority of my clients are adults. Adults often find great relief, satisfaction and understanding from utilizing creative expression
Do you take insurance?
Yes
I am in-network with Cigna.
For other plans, I am an out-of-network provider. I am able to accept most out of network plans through Advekit. Advekit is a program that submits for reimbursement so you don’t have to. If using Advekit I will provide you with a link.
If you are submitting for reimbursement through your insurance provider, you are responsible for paying my fee and I will provide you with a Superbill (a receipt for services) for you to submit to your insurance provider. Please check with your insurance provider for the details of your coverage. When contacting your provider be sure to ask the following questions:
- Do I have out-of-network coverage for mental health?
- Do you cover the LCAT license (Licensed Creative Arts Therapist)?
- What is my out of pocket payment before my deductible is met?
- What percentage of the fee for each visit will be covered?
- How many visits are covered per calendar year?
Please let me know if you need help to clarify your insurance benefits.
Advantages of Private Pay:
The benefit of not using your insurance is that your psychotherapy treatment is fully your own and completely confidential. It will be determined by you and me with no restrictions from your insurance company. In addition, a mental health diagnosis will not have to be added to your permanent health records.A
